The Journey Begins

The journey to Shodoshima begins with a serene ferry ride across the Seto Inland Sea. Depart from Takamatsu, Okayama, Kobe, or Himeji ports, and enjoy the gentle sea breeze and tranquil views as you head towards Shodoshima. How to Get to Shodoshima

Shodoshima has several ports, each offering access to the movie village. Here is an overview:

Tonosho Port (from Takamatsu Port / Okayama Port)

Operator: Shikoku Ferry (Shodoshima Ferry)
Access:
From Takamatsu Port (Kagawa): Approx. 60 minutes by ferry.
From Shin-Okayama Port (Okayama): Approx. 70 minutes by ferry.
Distance to the movie village: Approx. 35 minutes by car.

Ikeda Port (from Takamatsu Port)

Sakate Port (from Takamatsu Port / Kobe Port)

On the Island

For Those Traveling by Bus

Buses to the movie village are also available, though services are limited, so we recommend checking the schedule in advance. Enjoy the ride as you take in the rich natural beauty of Shodoshima, and as you arrive at the bus stop in front of the movie village, the gates of the village will welcome you.
